ភ្នំពេញ៖ គ្រាប់បែកខ្នាតធំដែលកងទ័ពអាកាសរបស់ថៃបានវាយប្រហារគោលដៅទៅលើផ្ទះប្រជាពលរដ្ឋនាថ្មីៗមកនេះត្រូវបានខាងអង្គការស៊ីម៉ាក់ប្រមូលយកទៅទុកដាក់ដើម្បីចៀសវាងបង្កគ្រោះថ្នាកដល់ប្រជាពលរដ្ឋ។

ឯកឧត្តម ហេង រតនា អគ្គនាយកស៊ីម៉ាក់( CMAC)បានឱ្យដឹងថា នៅព្រឹកថ្ងៃទី៣០ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥នេះ កម្លាំងអង្គភាពស៊ីម៉ាក់ (CMAC) បានចុះទៅពិនិត្យដល់ទីតាំងដែលពលរដ្ឋរាយការណ៍ និងបានប្រមូលយកគ្រាប់បែកទាំងនោះមករក្សាទុកដើម្បីរក្សាសុវត្ថិភាព។

គួរបញ្ជាក់ថា វាជាប្រភេទគ្រាប់បែក MK-84 មានទម្ងន់ជិត១តោន (១,០០០គីឡូក្រាម) មានប្រវែងសរុបប្រមាណ ៣.៥ម៉ែត្រ ជាតិផ្ទុះជាង ៥០០គីឡូក្រាម ជាគ្រាប់បែកមានទំហំធំបំផុតក្នុងចំណោមប្រភេទគ្រាប់បែកក្រុម MK (MK-81, MK82, MK-83 និងMK-84) ដែលបានទម្លាក់ដោយកងទ័ពអាកាសថៃកាលពីកន្លងទៅថ្មីនេះ។

CMAC Secures Massive Bomb Dropped by Thai Air Force on Cambodian Civilian Area

A high-explosive aerial bomb dropped by the Royal Thai Air Force in a recent cross-border strike targeting civilian homes in Cambodia has been recovered by the Cambodian Mine Action Centre (CMAC), officials confirmed.

H.E. Heng Ratana, Director General of CMAC, said that early this morning, CMAC’s technical team was dispatched to the affected area following reports from local residents. The team successfully located and secured the unexploded ordnance to prevent further risk to public safety.

The munition was identified as an MK-84 general-purpose bomb, one of the most powerful in the MK-series. The bomb weighs approximately 1,000 kilograms, with an explosive payload of over 500 kilograms, and measures roughly 3.5 meters in length. It is rarely deployed in modern conflicts and was last extensively used during the Indochina Wars.

This type of bomb is designed to destroy fortified targets and infrastructure, and its deployment in civilian zones marks a grave escalation. The CMAC has since transported the device to a secure facility while further assessments continue in the area.

The incident raises heightened concerns over the use of disproportionate force and potential violations of international humanitarian law as tensions between Cambodia and Thailand continue to intensify.
