A 10-year-old Cambodian child has been rescued following an attack by Thai forces into Cambodian territory.

The child sustained a serious fractured rib injury after being struck by shrapnel of an artillery shell fired by the Thai military near the Ta Moan Thom temple frontline on July 24, 2025.
The child is now in stable condition and continues to receive treatment at Jayavarman VII Hospital.
