Her Excellency Lieutenant General Maly Socheata, Spokeswoman for the Ministry of National Defense of the Kingdom of Cambodia:

The Ministry of National Defense of the Kingdom of Cambodia wishes to inform the national and international public that the Regional Border Committee (RBC) meeting between Cambodia’s Military Region 4 and Thailand’s Army Region 2, which was scheduled to be held from September 28 to September 30, 2025, has been postponed to October 2025. According to the notice from the Thai side, this delay is due to restructuring and leadership changes within the Army Region.

Cambodia’s Military Region 4 will continue coordinating with the Thai side to promptly organize the meeting, enabling both parties to fully and effectively implement the ceasefire agreement, as well as to foster concrete cooperation to promote peace and stability between the two countries, as well as restore normalcy along the border.
